Wake Forest’s Master of Studies in Law is an innovative one-year program for individuals seeking to pursue or enhance a law-related career.
A fully-integrated core curriculum provides a foundational understanding of law, along with the opportunity to specialize and take additional JD courses of your choice depending on your interests. The 30-hour MSL program also includes a supervised writing experience, completed through either a master’s thesis or an upper-level law seminar paper. Our MSL graduates do not practice law, but they bring an understanding and awareness of legal concepts to their various careers and professions.
Laura Schoenthaler ('13) explains how the MSL program is giving her the legal foundation she needs to further pursue her passion in urban design.
